Programme Objectives
The main aim is to shape general culture of the graduates, their professional and programme-oriented competences in accordance with the requirements of Federal State Education Standards for World Education (FSES WE) in programme 44.04.01 (050100) "Pedagogical Education". Graduates will learn administrative, organizational and methodological management in the educational process in the domain of natural science and will specialize in the implementation of e-learning in educational institutions. Also, graduates will be prepared for designing of new educational resources, technologies and e-learning environments for education, as well as for carrying out educational activity with well-rounded implementation of e-learning technologies.
Features of the Master’s Degree Programmes
The students will learn advanced psychological and pedagogical approaches to teaching activities in emerging e-learning environment with the help of ICT, e-learning resources and Internet; develop e-learning systems; provide online educational services.
The focus of this master's programme is to produce a professional of the new generation, a teacher - moderator of the future. Who will innovate, design and implement new educational programmes of International Baccalaureate, an excellent technology expert, able to take into account most diverse regional, social and economic conditions, the one, who will design student's individual educational trajectories.
Educational programs will be conducted with the active use of e-learning and online learning technologies. Every student in the master's programme will be provided with guidance in selection and application of an individual educational trajectory utilizing PSHPU educational and scientific facilities.
Educational Aspects of the Programme
Programme "Teaching and Learning" is centered on personalized learning and consists of three modules: fundamental (modern aspects of pedagogy); methodological (actual problems of education); practice-oriented (computerization of education).
Over the two years of study graduates participate in various research projects, carry out work supported by grants and speak at conferences and seminars. The combination of practice-oriented education with fundamental scientific training enables graduates to become competent specialists who are so much in demand now in the education system.
Practice activity is organized at the International Baccalaureate schools.

Degree (diploma) – Master of Arts in Education (Russian), International Baccalaureate Certificate in Teaching and Learning.
Students will learn:
- general pedagogy, psychology;
- the International Baccalaureate: mission and philosophy, curriculum, principles, governance structure;
- methods of teaching and learning according to the International Baccalaureate Standards.
Students will receive qualification of IB Teacher.
Duration – 2 years.
Entry criteria – Bachelor's degree in any sphere, Language.
Language of instruction – English.
