International Partnership

The Partnership Agreement in the field of education was concluded with the University and the Department of Education of the City of Louisville, Kentucky, the USA.

The following international projects and agreements are performed:

• Belavin A.M., Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor, Vice-Rector on scientific work - an international project under the auspices of UNESCO «The Great Volga Way», the subproject coordinator is "Kamsky Trade Route."
   
• Birikh R.V., Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Theoretical Physics - Cooperation Agreement  with the University of Madrid "Complutense", Spain. Professor Velarde Manuel Garcia. The purpose of the agreement: collaborative research in the theory of hydrodynamic stability.

• Birikh R.V., Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Theoretical Physics - Cooperation Agreement with Hesse's First University, Germany. Professor Schwabe. The purpose of the agreement: collaborative research on the theory of hydrodynamic stability.
   
• Kozlov V.G., Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Associate Professor, Head  of  the Department of Experimental Physics - Cooperation Agreement with the University of Aix-Marseille, France. The agreement  aims at  the  study  of hydrodynamics, computer science and the French language.
   
• Kozlov V.G., Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Associate Professor, Head  of the Department of  Experimental Physics – Cooperation Agreement  with the Free University of  Brussels, Belgium. Investigation on hydrodynamics, physics of weightlessness.    

• Kolesnikov A.K., Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Associate  Professor, Provost of the University - the agreement INTAS in cooperation with the Institute of Continuum Mechanics, Ural Branch of the Academy of Sciences since 1996. The purpose of the agreement: collaborative research on hydrodynamics in microgravity.

• Misenzhnikov V.V., Candidate of Chemical Sciences, Associate Professor of The Chair of Chemistry, Regional Coordinating Officer of The  International Environmental Education program "GLOBE". This program is performed under the intergovernmental agreement Gore-Chernomyrdin. Principal Coordinator  USA ID AED (Academy for Educational Development). All developed countries all over the world participate in the program. $50,000 were allocated to Perm Region for obtaining computers and measuring instrumentation. The Pedagogical University received the right to train teachers of ecology and the right of issuance of certificate of international  standard.

• Project TACIS, since 1995. The Higher School of Economics is The  Russian Coordinator, The  European - SEOR ( Foundation  of Economic Research, The University of "Erasmus",Rotterdam). Pilot project centers are Novosibirsk and Perm. The purpose of the project is creation of a modern system of training and retraining of personnel in higher economic and secondary educational institutions of the Russian Federation.

• Project TEMPUS-TACIS, since 1997. Participating Countries: The United Kingdom (Oxford University), The Netherlands (University of Amsterdam), Germany(University g.Halle), Russia (PGPU). Head of PGPU -  Kolesnikov A.K. ,Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Associate Professor, Provost of the University. The purpose of the project is to prepare teachers to work with children with special educational needs.
   
•  Henner E.K., Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Informatics and BT - agreement with Blaagart Stats Seminarium, Denmark (1995-96). Cooperation Agreement to improve the education process, exchange of teachers.
